A Great Performance
After a 3-0 win against Portsmouth today, Newcastle stand 14th in the table with 19 points from 17 games played. Newcs really stroked the ball around well, which helped a lot with the second and third goals. Michael Owen, Obafemi Martins, and Danny Guthrie were on the tally sheet today with some nice goals, particularly Guthrie's who beat David James with a top- corner shot that was inside the 18 yard box. Jonas Gutierrez, despite being booked had a fantastic game creating chances every time he had the ball. This was possibly our best performance of the season. Well done to the lads! And by the way, what's wrong with Chelsea???? Anyone???
