Luciano Emilio was awarded Goal of the Week after he scored two goals against the LA Galaxy in a 4-1 victory for DC United. Emilio has also been awarded Player of the Month for June, scoring 7 goals and earning 1 assist in 4 matches. Emilio helped lead DC United to a 4-0-0 record in the month of June. Emilio notched two game winning goals, and two multi-goal games, includind a hat trick against the New York Red Bulls on June 14. Emilio has scored in 6 straight games, and is definitely making a push for the MLS all- star team. DC United started 2-7, but now is unbeaten in their last 6 league games. DC United is 7-7-1. The only reason I hope Emilio keeps scoring the goals, is because he is on my fantasy team.
