Game Summary: Newcastle 3- 1 Middlesbrough

Yesterday's game between Newcastle and Boro was basically going to decide who was going to stay in the Premiership and who was being relegated. When Habib Beye scored an own goal in the third minute, it was looking like it was going to go downhill for the Toon. But in the ninth minute, Steven Taylor scored a vital goal for Newcastle off a corner. Newcastle started to press hard, but couldn't manage to find a second goal. In the second half, Middlesbrough looked destined to score when Alan Shearer put Obafemi Martins on the field in the 69th minute. It was a matter of about 50 seconds and the substitution proved to be a great one. Martins shot with his right foot and buried in the far corner sending Alan Shearer and the crowd crazy. After that, Middlesbrough pressed and looked like they were going to score. But in the 86th minute, Peter Lovenkrands' goal sealed the deal for the Toon sending the fans wild. It was a great win. Well done lads!!!
