Tottenham Hotspur defender Alan Hutton has been ruled out of the season opener for Spurs, because he needs more time to recover from his foot injury which he picked up in pre-season. Gareth Bale, who signed a four-year deal yesterday, will probably start even though he hasn't been used in pre-season very much because of an injury he picked up in team's training camp in Spain.
